Josh Ginnelly has had his loan spell with City cut short, and joins Tranmere Rovers on loan.
The Burnley winger initially linked up with City on a season-long loan, where he made 18 appearances, scoring three goals. Ginnelly, who previously helped the Imps land the National League title and return to the Football League, will now hope to repeat the trick on the Wirral.
The 20-year-old, who has also enjoyed spells on loan at Altrincham and Walsall, originally joined the Clarets’ Development Squad from Shrewsbury Town in August, 2015, agreeing a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The Stacey West wishes Ginnelly well.
