With just eight games to go, including the third-placed play-off, the chances to score prediction league points are fading fast.
In the blink of an eye, the World Cup has reached the latter stages and in the SW Prediction League, it couldn’t be closer.
AKirk has led throughout the competition after a solid start, but he’s stumbled in the last few rounds, until the last four matches. He’s bagged seven points to open up a six point gap at the top of the table.
Next up is Petezipit, or my Dad. He’s lost ground picking up five points, but is still in with a shout of the £35 top prize. Leonardslair had been pushing him, but a disastrous last 16 in which he collected just four points have seen him slip to eight points adrift of the leader.
Crossinho grabbed maximum points in the Sweden and Switzerland game, but as with most of the players got nothing for England. The prediction is for the 90 minute or 120 minute score, so those plumping for an England win were left pointless.
Finally, on 36 points a depressing 11 behind my Dad, is me. Gutted.
The quarter finals are now available to predict, knock ya’sen out here.
