Another new face joins the board as Imps continue to strengthen off the field

The Imps have announced another new face has joined the club board, one whom we’ve been expecting for a while.

There’s been lots of chatter around the club about Clive Nates’ bringing in an additional investor from South Africa and the new man is one of Clive’s trusted colleagues.

Sean Melnick has joined the Board of Directors at Sincil Bank, bringing a wealth of business experience. He is the founder and Chairman Peregrine Holdings Limited, as well as being Chairman of Peregrine’s International financial services group, Stenham Limited. He is also a partner in Sportvest Capital LLP, and has a 25-year association with Clive.

Speaking through the club’s official press release, Sean said;

“When Clive Nates invited me to join him in investing into Lincoln City, he hinted that we’d have a lot of fun in the process. I can happily say that the enjoyment and excitement of the first two years, since we invested, have surpassed all expectations. There is however a lot of serious work that has gone into making those two years a success and we look forward to continuing to work hard on building on that success”

Clive has welcomed a guest from South Africa in recent months, thought now to be Sean, and the club are internally thought to be very excited by the new addition.

Clive’s input at Sincil Bank has been pivotal to the recent success and adding to that knowledge and of course financial clout, will only benefit us further in the long-term.
