LF: Niall McNamara
Niall had two-and-a-bit seasons at Lincoln City. Let that sink in, 26 months of him being part of the squad. Two play-off finals appearances came and went without him getting on the field.
Sadly, he is very much the forgotten man of an unforgettable team. He was often a late or unused sub in Keith’s team charge to a play-off semi-final and he failed to register a goal for the club.
He earned a one-year deal over the summer of 2004, but only played once more for Lincoln as we opened with a 1-0 win at Gay Meadow. Niall had a handful of opportunity to impress but never looked like making the grade.
