An Alternative Keith Alexander XI

DC: Peter Folkes

Even Bubs has his limits!

Young defender Folkes signed from Bradford as a squad player and he fulfilled that role with gusto, rarely getting anywhere near the pitch. He made three outings for Lincoln, two in 2004/05 season against Doncaster (0-1) and from the bench against Hartlepool (0-3).

He then completed the Carling Cup tie against Crewe the year after (5-1) before joining in January 2006 when it became clear he wasn’t going to develop into the player Keith hoped.

He later turned out for Tamworth in the Conference and was sent off in a game against Exeter, as was Mark Cooper.
