An alternative Keith Alexander XI

Liburd was a full back with lots of experience, brought in after our first play-off appearance to add value to the side. He had been with Middlesbrough and Bradford City and was a player a young me always used to sign on Championship Manager, meaning he must have been good, right?

He could operate at full back or further up in the midfield and his short spell at City saw him play in both positions. He suffered ankle ligament damage after being ever-present for the first 14 games of the campaign. It wasn’t an exciting beginning to the season though and following that he struggled to get back into the side, leaving the club at the end of the season after only a handful more starts.

After the Imps he appeared for Boots Athletic, Eastwood, Basford and Hucknall Town.
