An Alternative Keith Alexander XI

DL: Nathan Peat

Peat was a no-nonsense full back brought in on loan from Hull City in 2004. Made his debut from the bench in the fine 3-1 Carling Cup win against Derby County, but never managed to break into the first team.

Despite being a left back he was often utilised as a left-sided midfielder, and he made his final City appearance as an 81st minute sub for Gary Taylor Fletcher in the December 2004 bore draw with Cheltenham. Latterly featured heavily for North Ferriby after spells at Harrogate Town and York City.

Peat was a decent player, but the fact is Keith often found himself with a settled set of full backs, as he did central midfielders, so we rarely had bad ones featuring.
