Alex Bradley

I felt a bit for Alex – Danny brought him in as a squad player with a view to turning him around, but Michael Appleton didn’t fancy him, despite a good loan spell at Harrogate during their promotion season. He went to Yeovil whilst an Imp, first on loan and later permanently.

The former Finland Under 21 has had a tough time since. He played 47 times for Yeovil as a permanent signing but was released this summer just gone. He now plays for Tamworth in the Southern League Premier Division Central. They’re currently top of the table.

Ethan Ross

I remember the first time I interviewed Ethan Ross – we talked about anything and everything for about 30 minutes. He was bubbly, really friendly, and a great character, a lot like Ben Coker. That wasn’t the sort of character that fitted into the dressing room at the time, and Ethan played two senior matches in the EFL Trophy before we loaned him to Weymouth. In the summer of 2021, he was released.

He joined Stockport County but struggled to break into the team there as they were promoted from the National League. He had a loan spell with Aldershot, and this season he’s a teammate of Adam Crookes’ at York. He’s played regularly for them, starting as they drew 1-1 with Wrexham in their last game,
