James Clarke – Solihull Moors

 

James Clarke ticks a few of the boxes when it comes to recruiting talent from non-league. He’s been with a Premier League Under 23 team (Burnley), and he’s got plenty of games under his belt. The 23-year-old played for Mansfield Town for three seasons and has represented Ireland at Under 18 level.

He left Field Mill in 2022 and has since started 70 National League games for Solihull Moors, becoming a key figure for them. He’s versatile, and can play right back or centre back, and would look like a possible Regan Poole replacement. He’s tough in the tackle and has grown up immensely since leaving Mansfield.
