Albanian midfielder Dobra is one I’ve been aware of for a while – he was a trainee at Ipswich Town and played in the same side as Ted Bishop. He’s been a key player for the Spireites this season, and at 22, has plenty of room for development.
He plays in a similar position to Ted, attacking midfield or wide left, but he’s been rebuilding his career following his Ipswich release. He struggled in a loan spell at Colchester, but with 12 goal involvements for Paul Cook’s side, he’s a player raising a few eyebrows, especially given his FA Cup exploits.
He has a trick or two up his sleeve and is known for his skilful ball control and attacking wing play – he ranks 10th in the division for one v one dribbles, more than Ruben Rodrigues. As an Albanian Under 21, there’s every chance he’ll ascend to senior international football as well.
