Worst Performance – Blackpool (A) 6.21

Six of the players who appeared against Blackpool have either left the club permanently or are on loan. We had no fewer than 11 players out by the time 90 minutes were up, and yet we still probably deserved something from the game. This was real bare bones stuff, and with that in mind, 6.21 probably isn’t all that bad.

Best Performance – Peterborough Utd (7.38)

The day we won the cup. Yep, a 0-0 draw gets top marks this month, narrowly beating another 0-0 draw. We fought really well against one of the best sides in the division, and on xG, we deserved to win the game. We had decent chances, kept a top side at bay, and everyone left feeling we’d got a good point – what we needed next was an away win at Burton to make this a good point.

Best Individual Performance – Adam Jackson / Alex Mitchell v Derby / Peterborough (8.6)

In an unprecedented month, Jackson and Mitchell not only shared the highest rating, but they did so on two occasions! No other player got an average rating above 8, but the defensive duo got 8.6 twice, against Posh and Derby.

We’ll have to face next week’s game without Mitchell, meaning O’Connor is likely to partner Jacko, but the former Hibernian man is, without a doubt, one of the first names on the teamsheet right now.
