LW: Bruno Andrade – Portugal

Whatever happened to Bruno Andrade. One minute he’s being linked with big moves away from Sincil Bank, the next he’s rotting away in Salford’s reserves. What I do know is he played a huge part in our title-winning season, and when he was good, he was very good.

Having come through the ranks at QPR, he drifted into non-league football before finding form with Boreham Wood. We signed him in the summer of 2018, and he netted 11 goals in 50 appearances across all competitions to help us win the title. The following season, he struggled a little for form, despite a rocket against Everton in the cup, and eventually, he left after Michael Appleton arrived.

Since then Salford, Stevenage, Boreham Wood, Maidenhead and Chesham have all tried to get a tune from the attacker, and failed.
