Three Imps games have had their kick-offs moved for Sky TV, and one means an early start for supporters.
The Imps travel to Exeter City on November 16th, and that game will now be shown on Sky Sports. The issue is it will now kick off at 12:30 pm, meaning people wishing to go to the game will likely have to leave very early in the morning.
There are two home games affected, both in December. On Saturday 7th, Charlton visit the Bank, and that game has been selected for Sky, which means it will also kick off at 12:30. That might work better for people wanting an afternoon on the beer for an early Christmas party, and if it doesn’t, then fear not – another has moved as well.

Reading visit the Bank a fortnight later, on December 21st, and that game will kick off at 12:30. That is a change I can get on board with because it means we can be in the pub for three, taking in some of that Christmas cheer!
In all seriousness, it’s probably best that it is home games that are shfiting, as they’re the ones that are easier to get to. In terms of disruption, an away game at Exeter is likely to attract a smaller following than most, so fewer people will be affected.
It’s not ideal, obviously, but at least there’s plenty of notice, and those two December games will take place entirely during daylight hours, so it might even be a degree or two warmer.
Maybe.
