Brennan Johnson

Europa League (2025)

Brennan Johnson made his Europa League debut for Tottenham Hotspur in the 2025 campaign, having become a regular in the side following his move from Nottingham Forest. He scored five goals in the competition, including the opener against Bodo/Glimt in the semi-final, and their winner against Manchester United in the final.

Johnson had previously spent a loan spell at Lincoln during the 2020–21 season, where his explosive pace, and ability to win a penalty, made him a standout player in League One. His performances helped the Imps reach the play-off final and established him as one of the most exciting young talents in the country.

Gary Taylor-Fletcher

Europa League (2017/18)

Few would associate Gary Taylor-Fletcher with European football, but in 2017/18, the experienced forward had a brief taste of continental action with Welsh outfit Bangor City. By then, nearing the twilight of his playing days, Taylor-Fletcher featured in Bangor’s Europa League qualifiers against Danish side Lyngby BK.

Earlier in his career, the attacker had played for the Imps as part of Keith’s play-off chasers. He would later go on to play Premier League football with Blackpool and Leicester City. His European appearances came late on, offering a unique coda to a long career which took off during his spell with us.
