We wanted to get the lowdown on Peterborough United this season, given their rather rough start.
Is it as bad as it looks? Do they like DMaC and his outlandish statements? Are we really rivals?
All that and more, courtesy of the guys from Up The Posh Cast.
How has life treated you so far this season in League One?
It was a very rough start to the season, when it’s fair to say mass panic had spread. However, a productive final week of the transfer window may have saved us. Our last two results, since those new players started to come into the side, have been far more positive, and there is genuine reason to believe we can climb the table fairly quickly.
I listen to the Hard Truth, and it sounds like there’s a lot of anger. Is that fair? Is it widespread?
The anger was really heightened after last season and the start to this one but has dissipated somewhat after recent results, which were previously mentioned. It feels like things are in the balance right now, but as at most football clubs, a few wins really change the mood.

DMaC is really open, and as a neutral, he’s top value. Would you say the same from the inside looking out?
Darragh still retains a large amount of support, but there is an undercurrent of frustration. When things are going well his outspoken nature often earns him praise, but his statements can also frustrate certain sections of the fan base when matters on the pitch aren’t going to plan.
We see Posh as a rival, not local, but because of you always nicking players! Is it the same, or are we just another game for you?
I think it’s closer to just another game for us, to be honest. You’ll find some Posh fans who say Cambridge or Northampton are our main rivals, but very few would pick Lincoln!
Who are the key players in the Posh line-up 25/26?
Matthew Garbett arrived with little known about him, but is quickly becoming one of our classiest operators. Jimmy-Jay Morgan has been on fire since signing, with three goals in three games. And George Nevett has really improved on last season and now looks a capable operator in the heart of defence.

What do you expect of Lincoln under Skubala? Finally, I’d better get a score prediction!
You’ve made a great start, and both Draper and Street are a handful. I expect a physical game and you to press us from minute one. It’s a tough one to call, but given you played midweek, we might just have the edge in terms of freshness.
Because of that, I’m going for a narrow, 2-1, Posh win
