Bradford City Game Rearranged

City’s game with Bradford has now been rearranged, with the encounter set to take place sooner, rather than later.

The fixture at Valley Parade will now take place on Tuesday, 28 October, with kick-off at 7.45pm.

The game was initially set for this weekend but was postponed following international call-ups within the Imps’ squad. Ivan Varfolomeev, Justin Obikwu and Dexter Lembikisa are all on international duty, and would have missed the game.

The club have confirmed all tickets purchased for the original date will remain valid for the rearranged fixture. Supporters who have also booked coach travel do not need to take any further action, as those arrangements will carry over.

Please take note – and fans unable to attend the new date are advised to request a refund for coach travel before Friday, 18 October.

Sadly, the news is sure to begin another round of comments along the lines of ‘it should have gone ahead,’ but that is inevitable. Still, the game comes just after payday, which may make it a viable option. Also, it comes during half term, which might make it easier for families to attend.

Only time will tell.
