Scott Kerr

This is unusual – a player who not only survived under Sutton, but outlasted him!
After leaving the Imps, Kerr enjoyed spells with York City, where he helped the club win promotion to League Two, followed by short stints at Grimsby Town, Bradford Park Avenue, Stalybridge Celtic, Spennymoor Town, and Ossett Albion before retiring.
Since hanging up his boots, he has forged a successful post-playing career in recruitment, working as a first-team scout for Barnsley FC since 2014.
Chris Fagan

Sutton liked a striker, but not Fagan. The former Manchester United academy player never got going, but he did hit one of his three Imps goals against Bradford in the 2-0 win.
He lasted until December 2009, and was then allowed to leave. He briefly joined Spanish side Jerez Industrial, scoring four goals in 12 games before being released. Following failed trials with Gateshead and Shamrock Rovers, he signed for Bohemians in 2011, where 11 goals in 23 appearances reignited his career.
A move to St Patrick’s Athletic followed, where Fagan became a prolific striker, scoring 72 goals in 157 games and becoming the club’s all-time leading European scorer. During his time there, he won the League of Ireland title, FAI Cup, FAI President’s Cup, and Leinster Senior Cup, also claiming the Irish Golden Boot and Player of the Year honours in 2014.
