Bradford City: Alexander Praises Intent After Back-to-Back Wins

Bradford boss Graham Alexander says consistency in mindset has underpinned successive clean-sheet victories over Peterborough and Stockport.

The Bantams have tightened up defensively and look increasingly cohesive as they prepare to face AFC Wimbledon. Alexander was keen to stress that, although the games differed stylistically, his side’s intent remained the same.

“We had consistency in our mindset and intent to play a certain way, but the last two games were very different.

“However, the intent to try and play how we set out to was always there in both games.

“This team are always together, always connected, and they move in conjunction with each other. When they do that, we are a very hard team to break down, and are very effective at scoring goals and winning games.”

He also praised Wimbledon boss Johnnie Jackson, acknowledging the Dons’ competitive edge since promotion and predicting a strong contest at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.

  1. Absolute disgrace, I’ve watched this back a dozen or more times and there’s absolutely no doubt that Kenny could have avoided kicking Paudie O”Connor in the face. Red card every day of the week.
