Two Lincoln City players have been shortlisted for the PFA League One Fans’ Player of the Month award after the Imps’ excellent February form.

City’s strong run continued throughout the month as Michael Skubala’s side collected 13 points from five league matches, winning four and scoring 15 goals along the way.

It was another productive spell for Rob Street, who played a key role in the Imps’ attacking output. The forward found the net three times during February and also registered an assist, continuing to show the sharpness and movement that have made him such an important part of City’s front line during this promotion push. He averaged 7.50 for the month on our player rater.

Alongside him on the shortlist is Ivan Varfolomeev, whose influence in midfield has grown steadily in recent weeks. The Ukrainian midfielder enjoyed a particularly memorable moment during the month when he scored his first goal for the club in the comprehensive 4-0 victory over Northampton Town at the Bank. His performances across February have underlined the control and creativity he brings to City’s midfield unit. He averaged 7.76 this month.

Curiously, you voted five players above these two as well, showing what a brilliant month it was across the board. McGrandles was your Player of the Month, while Moylan (7.98), Bradley (7.98), Draper (7.97) and Hamer (7.76) were also high scorers.

They are joined on the shortlist by Marcus Browne of AFC Wimbledon, Sam Dalby from Bolton Wanderers, Reading striker Jack Marriott, and Bim Pepple of Plymouth Argyle.
