Lincoln City Player of the Month – February 2026

Credit Graham Burrell

Here we are, two months from the end of the season, with a real chance of Championship football in 2026/27.

It’s unreal, and it’s all because we have such a great set of players. Every month, you rate those players and remarkably, every single player scored higher than some of the previous winners. Even those used as late subs, such as Alfie Lloyd, scored higher than November 2021 winner Max Sanders, or January 2023 winner Paudie O’Connor. Every single player.

Indeed, the player finishing seventh this season would have won the award on 30 occasions since 2021/20. The seventh-best player this season would have been Player of the Month 60% of the time post-COVID. It’s fair to say February has been another big month.

With four wins from five, 15 goals, just two conceded, we’ve shown no signs of slowing down, nor did Michael Skubala get affected by the Manager of the Month curse. Outrageous stuff.

Here are your Player of the Month and Performance of the Month for February 2026.

Player of the Month

Conor McGrandles (8.24)

Conor McGrandles has been an immovable force this season. He moves on to three Player of the Month awards, taking his total to five, level with Paudie O’Connor in the post-COVID table.

He was Man of the Match against Blackpool, deservedly getting his goal, exactly 100 starts after his last senior goal, but his input is about more than that. He has not just replaced Ethan Erhahon; he has surpassed him in our XI this season, and is one day going to be mentioned in the same breath as all the Imps legends.

Individual Performance of the Month

Jack Moylan (Northampton Town H) 9.0

When Jack Moylan is on form, he is unplayable, and as we thrashed Northampton 4-0, he was at his very best. He also got the second-best rating of the month, against Bolton, and everyone will be hoping his injury is not serious, as he is a real spark.

His performance against Northampton was excellent –  a goal and an assist, but he was completely unplayable.

Best Team Performance of the Month

v Blackpool (H) 7.80

I’m really surprised at this. I thought we were great at Plymouth (7.36) and against Northampton (7.73) but our win against Blackpool grabs the award, My guess is the subs making a big impact helped – subs tend to get lower marks, but when they come on and score (as Oné did) and get a goal and an assist (as Jefferies did) it helps to bump up the outcome.

Still, another big 4-0 win capping off a great month. It’s also the highest-rated win of the whole season….
