Man of the Match: Lincoln City v Doncaster Rovers

Lincoln City winning 2-0 against Doncaster Rovers confirmed the Imps as League One champions.

You’d think two-goal hero Ben House would be the Man of the Match, but after over 100 of you entered your ratings, another player came out on top – Jack Moylan.

For the first time in a long while, every single player came away with a rating of more than seven, but Jack stood out with a whopping 8.94 (at the time of writing).

Moylan was impressive on the ball, completing six of his seven dribbles, which is why he stood out. We all love a player who gets on the ball, breaks at pace and beats players, and Moylan is a little bit of magic when he does.

He got the assist for Ben House’s opener as well, bringing down an awkward ball and exchanging passes with Ryan Oné before feeding House.

Moylan has caught the eye throughout the season, and his goal involvement on Tuesday night takes his tally to 15, ten goals and five assists, according to FotMob stats. He was also included in the League One Team of the Season, and has had a terrific campaign despite getting injured against Harrogate and missing a couple of months.

Ben House came second in your Man of the Match ratings with 8.70, while midfield duo Conor McGrandles and Ivan Varfolomeev were third and fourth with 8.59 and 8.46 respectively.
