Lincoln City will finally get their hands on the League One trophy this afternoon, on another memorable occasion at the Bank.
The Fan Zone will be open well ahead of kick-off, offering drinks promotions between 12 pm and 1.30 pm, alongside the usual food outlets. It will also be the final opportunity for supporters to visit the Centre Spot bar, a staple of the matchday for more than three decades, before it makes way for the club’s upcoming Imps Territory developments.
It’s a little sad for me: I had a couple of birthday parties in there, and had my book launch in there too. We’ve done a live show or two, and it’s been a venue that I’ve had so many good times in. I’ll raise a glass to that ahead of the game.

A day of celebration and remembrance
Supporters are then advised to be in their seats by 2.50 pm at the latest, with the pre-match build-up featuring a number of important moments. Wycombe Wanderers will form a guard of honour as the newly crowned champions take to the field, a fitting mark of respect for a side that has set the standard this season.
As always for the final home game, members of the Stacey family will lay a wreath on the centre spot, joined by commentator John Helm, who was broadcasting on the day of the Valley Parade Fire. A moment’s silence will follow, honouring Bill Stacey, Jim West, and the 56 supporters who lost their lives in 1985.
Post-match presentations and trophy lift
Half-time will see members of the 1975/76 Division Four title-winning side will be presented to the crowd, marking 50 years since one of the most iconic teams in the club’s history achieved promotion.
While the match itself will be the final act of the season on the pitch, attention will quickly turn to the celebrations afterwards. The club are asking that we remain in the stands to allow the planned presentations to take place safely and smoothly.
The squad and coaching staff will briefly leave the pitch before returning for the club’s annual awards. These will include recognition for the PFA Community Champion, the 617 Squadron Player of the Season, the Away Player of the Season, and the Young Player of the Season. The presentations will conclude with the Vic Withers Memorial Trophy, awarded to the supporter-voted Player of the Season.

All of this will take place in front of the Stacey West Stand, setting the stage for the main event. Members of the 1975/76 title-winning side will carry the League One trophy onto the pitch, linking past success with the present achievement. Head coach Michael Skubala will be the first to receive his medal, followed by the coaching staff and players, before captain Tendayi Darikwa lifts the trophy on behalf of the group.
