This evening sees Stacey West FC take on British Heart Foundation FC in a charity match at Ashby Avenue.

Gates are at 6:30, the game kicks off at 7:30, and we’re expecting a great night’s entertainment. Dean West and Simon Yeo are turning out for us, while Mark Hone is in the dugout. There are a host of local footballers, Foundation staff, The Kitsman, and some SW writers putting on their boots. I might even get a run out, or perhaps more of a walk on…

We’re raising money for the Foundation, and as things stand, we’re up to £750 without a single penny from the night. There is a raffle with some top prizes; details are below.

If you’re in Lincoln and at a loose end, pop down and join in the fun. Bar is open, there will be food, a penalty shoot-out competition for the kids, stall including Her Game Too and, of course, a football match.

If you want to enter the raffle, you can do so on the night for £5 per strip. If you want to enter in advance, you can do that as well. Just go to this Just Giving page, pledge a multiple of £5 and add your name.

We’ll then add you to this remote raffle ticket sheet so you can see your numbers. At the end of the game, we’ll get those stars of the show to draw the raffle.
