Swansea City Closing In On Salzburg Winger
Swansea City are closing in on a permanent deal for RB Salzburg winger Moussa Yeo, with the player in south Wales for a medical, according to Wales Online.
The 22-year-old would become Swansea’s second signing of the summer if the move is completed. He has previously worked with Swans boss Vitor Matos at Salzburg and is now set to add another option in the wide areas ahead of the new Championship season.
Yeo scored six goals in 32 appearances during his first full season with Salzburg in 2024/25, before making another 30 appearances for the Austrian club last term. He scored twice last season, with one of those goals coming against Aston Villa in a 3-2 defeat in January.
Swansea have already brought in Stephen Welsh on a free transfer from Celtic. A winger has been high on the club’s list during the summer window, with Matos keen to add more goal threat from wide positions after last season’s return from those areas.
Ronald scored four league goals in 2025/26, Eom Jisung added two, while Zeidane Inoussa finished with one after missing a substantial part of his first season in English football through a back injury. The report adds that Swansea would still like to sign at least one more winger before the window closes, while left-back cover is also expected to be targeted behind Josh Tymon.
