Lincoln Women progressed in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup with a 3-0 victory over Your Potential Academy at Sincil Bank, with Bella Bogg scoring twice.
Bogg put Lincoln ahead in the 19th minute, with her goal separating the sides at half-time. Cody Webb, named among the substitutes, added a second in the 68th minute before Bogg completed her double five minutes later to secure a place in the next round.
The victory marked Lincoln Women’s first appearance at the ground under their current name. Ahead of the game, CEO Katie Rowson spoke about what the occasion meant for the club and its collaboration with Lincoln City and Lincoln United.
“It’s absolutely brilliant. It’s the first time we’re going to play here at the ProAmpac as Lincoln Women FC, and we talk about it all the time. This is a new era, but we have to recognise the history behind us. It’s not the first time the women have played here.
“We are privileged to have this collaboration between Lincoln United and Lincoln City. We normally play our home games at Ashby Avenue, which is a fabulous venue, and we absolutely love playing there.”
THROUGH TO THE NEXT ROUND!!!

Rowson also praised the work that had gone into preparing the stadium for the fixture. She described the occasion as a visible sign of the changes taking place at the club.
“The work the groundsmen have done at this beautiful stadium for the girls to be able to play here, for the staff to be able to be involved, it’s just another show of that collaboration between Lincoln United and Lincoln City.
“I’ve been talking about we’re in a new era now since December. A lot of people have said, ‘But I can’t really feel it yet. I can’t really see it.’ Well, hopefully today is that tangible piece that people can start having that and using that as evidence.”
Lincoln backed up the occasion with three goals and a clean sheet, ensuring their visit to the Bank ended with FA Cup progress. Bogg’s brace did much of the damage, with Webb’s goal helping turn a narrow half-time advantage into a clear victory.
