West Ham United Striker Wanted By Werder Bremen
Werder Bremen would like to keep Niclas Füllkrug beyond the end of his season-long loan from West Ham United. However, a report from Bulinews, citing Sky Germany, suggests his wages could prove a significant obstacle to a permanent move.
The 33-year-old has made a strong start since returning to the Bundesliga club, but no concrete negotiations have taken place. Bremen also have no purchase option in the existing agreement, while Füllkrug remains under contract with the Hammers until 2028.
The report puts his annual net salary at approximately €2 million if West Ham remain in the Championship. That could reportedly rise to €4 million if they return to the Premier League, a figure Bremen would be unable to match.
