Three players who represented both Lincoln City and Queens Park Rangers feature in our latest Good, Bad and Ugly.
We revisit a title winner, a brief and unsuccessful stay during our relegation season, and a striker whose career took an unexpected turn after leaving Sincil Bank.
The Good: Bruno Andrade
Bruno Andrade gave Danny Cowley’s side pace, direct running and a powerful shot from the left. The former QPR youngster arrived from Boreham Wood in May 2018 after scoring 20 National League goals and helping them reach the play-off final. His first Lincoln goal came against Notts County, and he quickly became an important part of our promotion challenge.
There were frustrations, particularly his dismissal at Swindon in January 2019, but his response was excellent. He fought his way back into the side, scored six times in five February matches and won the League Two PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award. By the end of the season, he had made 50 appearances and helped us secure the title.

His late goal at MK Dons remains a wonderful memory, while his volley against Everton the following season showed just how cleanly he could strike a ball. He left for Salford City during Michael Appleton’s reshaping of the squad in January 2020, having scored 13 goals in 73 appearances. His later career has taken him through numerous clubs and into the Baller League, but he gave us plenty to enjoy here.
