The Arsenal Connection: Who Might We See Here Next Season?

One area we might have to look for fresh blood is the holding midfield role currently covered by the likes of Joe Morrell and Liam Bridcutt. Azeez might only be 17-years-old, but he’s already catching the eye for Arsenal’s Under 23 side, as well as England’s Under 17 and Under 18 teams.

He’s been used mainly as a holding midfielder, both left and right sided, but can also play further up the field. He too appeared for the Under 23s against Manchester City and is described as a leader who stands out in his age group.

Perhaps, if his talent is sufficient, he could well be a candidate to appear for us next season in order to add senior experience to the silky skills he already possesses.

  1. “The clubs sending players out on loan have to be assured their prospects are going to get regular football”.

Assurance are one thing, the reality might be different. Do we know why TJ Eyoma is not playing?

  2. Always plenty of talented players in Arsenal youth teams.. It would be nice if clubs will continue good relationship and we can land one of those talents here.
We were bit unlucky this year with TJJ but next time it might work out better for us.
