Ok, so you may not want to actually relive the Swindon game, but a 2-2 draw isn’t the worst thing in the world.
It’s actually a common scoreline between us and Swindon, the third season in a row we have drawn 2-2 with them. On those occasions, it wasn’t a bad point, but even Michael Appleton admitted he wasn’t happy yesterday. We don’t know if it is a good point or a bad one right now, but it is one more than no points, which I think is the solace to take away from the game.
Jorge Grant netted from the spot, with Morgan Rogers adding a second, and in truth even playing poorly we could have gone and won the game. The players will learn a lesson or two and we will still be fighting for promotion when we kick off again at the weekend.
With that in mind, try to draw from the positive, and if you need inspiration have a look at Bubs gallery. Make the most of it too, your intrepid photographer is unable to head to Home Park, Plymouth at the weekend, so these images will have to do you until next Tuesday. Looking back, Palmer made some good saves and we did get in good areas at times too. Take the small wins, even if the bigger ones didn’t come our way!
