Stylish midfielder Adams signed on loan from Birmingham in January 2014 for three months. He impressed in his 14 starts and after completion of his first spell, he returned to Lincoln in November 2014.
He scored two spectacular goals against Grimsby and Aldershot, both goals getting an awful lot of hits on YouTube for their audacious execution. Returned to Birmingham in March 2015 and joined Kilmarnock on loan, where former Blues boss Lee Clark had taken over. Sadly, in just his third game in Scotland, he was the victim of a nasty challenge by Dundee defender Kévin Gomis. The tackles left a wound through which his tibia was visible. After just nine appearances he returned to Birmingham, but damaged his medial collateral ligament and was out for nearly three months.
He joined Dagenham on a free transfer following his release from Birmingham and had two spells with them either side of a stint with Barnet. He joined Maidenhead of the National League for the 2021/22 season. In 2018, he represented England in a C international, appearing against Wales.
