Plymouth Argyle handed boost but Finn ruled out
Plymouth Argyle could soon welcome several players back from injury, although youngster Tegan Finn has been ruled out for the rest of the season, as reported by Plymouth Live.
The Pilgrims have been climbing the League One table in recent weeks after recovering from a difficult start to the campaign, and the return of several players to training could strengthen their options further.
Owen Dale, Herbie Kane and Mathias Ross have all resumed training, while Brendan Wiredu could also come back into contention in the near future as Argyle attempt to sustain their late push.
However, head coach Tom Cleverley confirmed the news was not entirely positive, with teenage attacker Finn facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
“Bad news on Tegan, he won’t play again this season.”
The youngster suffered what Cleverley described as a significant hamstring injury during last weekend’s defeat at Rotherham United. Defender Julio Pleguezuelo is also expected to spend several weeks out with a calf problem.
Argyle are also still waiting on the return of leading scorer Lorent Tolaj, who remains sidelined but could be back within three weeks if his recovery continues on schedule.
