Lincoln City Make Important Stadium Announcement

Lincoln City have confirmed the name and branding of the new community space, with The Clubhouse set to open to the public next week.

The new facility, based at the Sincil Bank close to the astroturf pitches, has been designed as a community hub for supporters, local groups, and those already using the stadium throughout the week.

The Clubhouse name has been chosen to reflect the sporting traditions behind the project. In many clubs, a clubhouse acts as the central meeting point for a wider community, and Lincoln City hope the new space will become an important part of daily life around the stadium.

The venue is expected to serve supporters visiting the nearby ticket office and club shop, as well as community groups, including walking football teams, who already use the stadium. The venue is the first part of the Imps Territory plan, set to revolutionise the matchday experience at Sincil Bank.

History To Be Celebrated Inside The Clubhouse

A dedicated area inside The Clubhouse will also be used to celebrate the history of Lincoln City and the stadium, with the club’s 1884 Collective set to play a role in that side of the project over time.

The branding for The Clubhouse has been created by Castle Print and draws on the history and footballing identity of the stadium. The logo is inspired by a team’s pre-match huddle, which was also the working name of the project before The Clubhouse was chosen.

Viewed from above, each player’s head in the huddle is represented by a coffee bean, reflecting the nature of the new space. The circular design also subtly forms the shape of a football, linking the branding back to the club and its stadium setting.

The final touches will be added over the coming week before The Clubhouse officially launches on Friday, 19 June, when I am on holiday. As part of the opening day, the League One trophy will be on display between 11 am and 1 pm, while DoughGirl will also be on site to provide treats for the first customers.

From the following week, The Clubhouse will be open from 9 am to 9 pm, Monday to Friday, a fresh and welcome addition to daily life around the ground. How many times have you popped to the club shop and felt like not much else is there to do? Now you can get a coffee and a cake when grabbing your tickets, or a tea after watching you kids play on the pitches.
