Championship Latest: Everton Linked With £20m+ Swoop, Birmingham City Set £25m Striker Price

Millwall Launch £5m Move For Hull City Forward

Millwall have reportedly made a £5m bid for Hull City forward Kyle Joseph, with the Daily Mail reporting that the Lions are keen to bring him back to the Championship.

Joseph helped Hull win promotion to the Premier League last season, scoring eight Championship goals and adding five assists in 44 appearances. However, his immediate future is uncertain as the Tigers prepare for life in the top flight.

The 24-year-old suffered an ankle injury in the play-off semi-final against Millwall, forcing him to miss the final victory over Middlesbrough. He is expected to face around ten weeks out, which could disrupt his pre-season.

Hull are also likely to strengthen in attacking areas this summer, potentially leaving Joseph facing a tougher route to regular Premier League minutes.

Millwall already have Josh Coburn and Mihailo Ivanovic in their forward ranks, but Joseph’s ability to play across the front line would offer Alex Neil another option.

Joseph also has a personal connection to Millwall, with his father a supporter of the club. He also impressed against the Lions last season, scoring twice in Hull’s 3-1 win at The Den.
