Championship Latest: Spurs Interested In £50m Star, Brazilian Prospect Makes Norwich City Switch

Burnley Winger Luca Koleosho Attracting Fiorentina Interest

Burnley winger Luca Koleosho is being linked with a possible move to Fiorentina, with the Serie A club reportedly viewing him as a realistic attacking option this summer.

The 21-year-old spent last season away from Turf Moor on loan, initially returning to boyhood club Espanyol before that spell was cut short in January. He then moved to Paris FC, where he found more regular football and contributed to four goals in 18 appearances.

Paris FC had previously been tipped to consider activating their option to buy, but that interest appears to have cooled. Monza and Genoa have since been credited with interest, while Fiorentina are now said to be weighing up Koleosho as a player who fits the attacking profile they are looking for.

Koleosho still has three years left on his Burnley contract, but the Clarets appear open to a sale. The fact an option to buy was included in his most recent loan deal suggests they would be willing to consider a permanent exit if the right offer arrived.

Burnley are preparing for life back in the Championship and could use any fee to reshape their squad. For Koleosho, a move to Fiorentina would also carry personal significance, as it would be the first time he has played club football in Italy.
