West Brom Complete Ingram Signing
West Bromwich Albion have signed Matt Ingram from Oxford United on a permanent deal.
The 32-year-old leaves Oxford after a brief spell in which he made seven appearances following his arrival from Hull City in 2024.
His game time last season came mainly in the cups. He featured against Brighton & Hove Albion, MK Dons and Sunderland, but remained behind Jamie Cumming in the league pecking order.
Oxford confirmed the move shortly after Aaron Ramsey was appointed as their new head coach, making Ingram the first player departure since that change.
“Everyone at Oxford United would like to thank Matt for his service and wish him well for the future,” said the club statement,
Ingram arrives at The Hawthorns with plenty of experience behind him. He made 141 appearances for Wycombe Wanderers earlier in his career and later played 111 times for Hull.
