Trabzonspor Ready New Hamer Offer
Trabzonspor are preparing another move for Sheffield United midfielder Gustavo Hamer, with a formal offer reportedly on the way.
The Turkish club pushed to sign Hamer during the winter window, but that attempt came to nothing after their proposal failed to meet Sheffield United’s expectations.
That has not ended their interest. Reports in Turkey now claim Trabzonspor are ready to try again, with Hamer’s contract situation adding to the sense that this could be an important few weeks for the Blades. The 29-year-old has only 12 months left on his current deal at Bramall Lane, meaning United may have to consider whether to cash in now or risk losing him for nothing in 2027.
Hamer was one of the standout attacking midfielders in the Championship last season. He finished with seven goals and 13 assists in all competitions, with 18 of those goal contributions coming in the league alone.
