Wolverhampton Wanderers Interested In Niko Sigur
Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly interested in signing Canada international Niko Sigur from Hajduk Split.
The 22-year-old can play as a defensive midfielder or right-back, and has attracted attention following his involvement at the 2026 World Cup. According to TSN, Wolves are considering a move for Sigur, who could be available for a fee in the region of £2.5 million.
Sigur appeared in three of Canada’s five matches at the tournament, including a start in their 3-0 Round of 16 defeat against Morocco. He has now won 22 senior caps for Canada, having previously represented Croatia at under-21 level before switching international allegiance.
At club level, Sigur has made 98 league appearances for Hajduk Split, scoring five goals. His versatility would offer Wolves another option as they prepare for Championship football following relegation from the Premier League.
Wolves have already been active in the market, with TSN reporting deals for Ladislav Krejci, Kieran Trippier and Raul Jimenez as part of their summer rebuild.
