3. Denis Drăguș
Denis Drăguș would be the most complicated deal on this list, but potentially one of the most rewarding.
The 27-year-old is technically gifted, strong in possession and capable of linking play effectively. He works hard, carries the ball well and can operate through the middle or from a wider attacking position. His international record is respectable, with seven goals from 27 senior appearances for Romania as of the end of the 2025/26 season.
The obvious concern is his scoring record at club level. Drăguș scored 14 league goals during a productive loan at Gaziantep in 2023/24, but managed only two league goals for Trabzonspor before enduring less successful temporary spells with Eyüpspor and Gaziantep.
For a centre-forward, that lack of consistent output is difficult to overlook. A Championship club signing Drăguș would need to believe it could recreate the conditions that brought the best out of him during his first spell at Gaziantep.
Finances present another complication. Drăguș is reportedly earning around €1.57 million per year at Trabzonspor and remains under contract until 2028. FCSB have been attempting to bring him back to Romania, with reports suggesting a possible salary worth up to €1 million including bonuses, but his negotiations with Trabzonspor have delayed any agreement.
A loan with an obligation to buy could provide a possible solution, particularly if Trabzonspor agreed to contribute towards his salary. Drăguș would be a risk, but his physical and technical qualities suggest he could become an excellent Championship forward in the right system.
