Swansea City Close To Agreeing Winger Deal

Swansea City winger Zeidane Inoussa is reportedly closing in on a loan move to Polish title challengers Górnik Zabrze.

The 24-year-old has yet to feature for the Swans this season and now appears set to leave the Championship club in search of regular football.

According to Expressen, Swansea and Górnik have reached an agreement which will see Inoussa spend the remainder of the campaign in Poland. The transfer is said to be in its final stages, with the Swedish winger expected to be unveiled by his new club shortly. There has been no indication that the agreement includes either an option or obligation to make the move permanent.

Inoussa Closing In On Swansea Exit

Inoussa joined Swansea from BK Häcken in July 2025, with the Welsh club reportedly paying around €6 million for his services. He signed a five-year contract upon his arrival, tying him to the Swans until the summer of 2030. The former Sweden Under-21 international made 29 appearances across all competitions during his first season in Wales, registering one goal and two assists. His only goal came during a 3-1 EFL Cup victory over Crawley Town.

However, Inoussa has not appeared in any competition this season, leaving him in need of an opportunity elsewhere. A move to Górnik would give him the chance to play for a club competing near the top of Poland’s Ekstraklasa. Górnik currently sit third in the division, just one point behind leaders Lech Poznań, following an impressive beginning to the campaign. The clubs are also due to meet in a significant early-season fixture this week.

Another European Move For Swansea Winger

The proposed transfer would add Poland to the growing list of countries in which Inoussa has played during his career. He began his development with Brommapojkarna before moving to French side Caen, where he made his professional debut in September 2020. Loan spells with Real Murcia and Valencia Mestalla followed, giving him experience in Spain before he returned to Sweden.

Inoussa scored five goals in ten league appearances for Brommapojkarna during 2023 and subsequently joined Häcken. He produced 11 goals in 35 appearances across all competitions during the 2024 campaign, including three in the UEFA Conference League, before earning his transfer to Swansea.

That promise has not yet translated into a consistent role in the Championship. A temporary switch to Górnik could therefore offer Inoussa valuable playing time while allowing Swansea to retain control of a player contracted to the club for another four years.
