Chiedozie Ogbene and Josh Honohan – Republic of Ireland
Chiedozie Ogbene is the established international of our Irish pair, with 35 caps and five goals, including a goal against Canada on his most recent appearance in June. Josh Honohan is still looking for his first senior cap, having received his first full call-up in May 2025 for the following month’s friendlies against Senegal and Luxembourg.
Honohan’s previous involvement puts him among the names worth watching, although his recent injury is a consideration, while Ogbene will be hoping to add to his tally across four Nations League fixtures against Kosovo, Austria and Israel twice.
