Rob Street – 7
No questioning the commitment again, but didn’t get a lot of joy from the Sheffield United defence. He did set up Draper for the early chance, and had one of his own, as well as drawing a foul on the edge of the area. Probably did better than he was initially given credit for.
Ben House – 8 (Gary’s Man of the Match)
Can you give an eight to a striker in a 3-0 defeat? Tireless in his running and his ability to press high. Everything we did well in the first half, he seemed to be a part of, albeit often early in the move. A huge asset all afternoon.
Freddie Draper – 6
If he’d scored the header, City probably go on to win the game. Battled well, but did seem to be fighting a losing battle and probably not a huge surprise he was taken off, with West Ham coming up.
