Occasionally there’s something that springs to mind immediately, but either way there’s plenty to go on. Even the likes of Morecambe and Crawley, relative newcomers to the Imps fixture list, have enough links to produce an article.

Rather unsurprisingly, there’s not a lot that connects the Imps and Everton, certainly not on the face of it. Of course, we do have a huge thank you to offer them and that seems as good a place as any to start the article.
