Young Player of the Year – Ethan Erhahon (7.50)

This might be a bit harsh on Carl Rushworth, but my criteria is (and always has been) 15 matches or more. Erhahon has appeared 19 times, he’s 21, and that means his score counts. Boy, what a score it is.
The youngster has been a revelation since arriving from St Mirren. He’s made our midfield look far more stable and balanced; he’s scrapped and fought for the ball and shows a real nice touch in the middle of the park. He’s confident and clam in possession, and doesn’t often put a foot wrong.
He’s a huge asset to the club and a real gem we’ve plucked from Scotland. If we’re not talking about him as Player of the Season in 12 months time, it will be because someone has paid us a big sum for his services, no doubt at all.
