We have been known to take a player from a League One rival, but it isn’t commonplace.
Regan Poole was at MK Dons when he moved to us, and Conor McGrandles was a loan from our division when he returned. While we’re likely to be active in January, I’d be surprised if we targeted anyone in the same division as us.
Still, it is worth looking at some of the players we’ve seen and identifying those I’d like to see at Lincoln. I do have a caveat – I’m not going to pick obvious ones, like Amario Cozier-Duberry, or Joe Taylor. Those players wouldn’t move here, so I want to keep it a little more realistic.
I’ve seen a lot of League One football this season, and one or two players have stood out to me. The ones that don’t push the boundaries of possibility too far are the ones I’ve added to this list.
Also, I am not saying we are interested in any of these players, just so you know. Also, if you’re a fan of one of these clubs, I’m not saying they’d choose to move to us.
Just to avoid arguments.
