Top Five Lincoln City Players For Chances Created 2025/26

Lincoln City are the second-highest scorers in League One this season, delivering the attacking, front-footed football Michael Skubala promised on arrival.

Given that no player is on ten league goals for the season, it’s a big achievement for the squad as a whole. Goals have rained down, especially in games at Sincil Bank, where we’ve hit three or more on seven occasions in the league, and nine including cup competitions. Contrast that with 2022/23, when we did it once in the league, against nine-man Port Vale.

Before the goals, there is an assist, and before every shot, there is usually a creator. Often, they’re an unsung hero, a player with perhaps three goals across the board, but with far more credit in the bank when it comes to creating chances.

So, who are the biggest chance creators in the current Lincoln City squad? We run down the top five players with the highest chances created per 90. They have to have created five or more chances, and they have to still be at the club.

Rob Street has proven to be one of the breakout stars of City’s 2025/26 season. After a tough start, he was loaned to Doncaster and came back as (arguably) our third-choice number nine. He had a role to play, drifting in from out wide, but had to wait to go through the centre.

He’s now our leading scorer and is in the top five for chances created as well. No wonder Peterborough wanted to splash £1m on him over the summer.
