League One Latest: Bolton Wanderers Interest In Prolific Striker, Rotherham United Man Hit With Injury Scare

Promotion chasers tracking Exeter striker Wareham

Bradford City and Bolton Wanderers are reportedly monitoring Exeter City forward Jayden Wareham ahead of the summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old has enjoyed an impressive campaign, scoring 18 league goals and 21 in all competitions, emerging as one of the most dangerous attackers in League One despite Exeter’s struggles near the bottom of the table.

Interest is said to extend beyond League One, with clubs in the lower half of the Championship also keeping tabs on the striker. That could leave Bradford and Bolton needing promotion to stand a realistic chance of securing his signature.

Wareham’s rise has been notable, having developed through the academies of Reading and Queens Park Rangers before spells with Woking and Chelsea at youth level. A return to Reading followed, and after a move to Exeter last summer, he has taken his game to another level.

His form has come in contrast to Bradford’s forward line, where no natural striker has yet reached double figures in the league this season, underlining why reinforcements could be targeted.
