League One continues to deliver drama at both ends of the table, with injury scares, transfer interest and relegation pressure shaping the run-in.
Rotherham United forward suffers breathing scare
Rotherham United attacker Ar’Jany Martha is being monitored after suffering a breathing issue during their 1-0 defeat at Port Vale.
The 22-year-old was forced off in the 63rd minute, with manager Lee Clark confirming the severity of the situation post-match.
“He was feeling unwell, so we had to bring him off, “He couldn’t breathe. He hadn’t been feeling great. We had to make that change.”
Rotherham will now assess the forward ahead of their upcoming South Yorkshire derby with Barnsley, hoping there are no lasting effects from the incident.
Elsewhere, there were more positive updates for the Millers, with Denzel Hall pushing for a first start since returning from a serious hamstring injury. Clark also confirmed that Hamish Douglas is fit again, while Jordan Hugill could return to the matchday squad after knee surgery.
However, Dru Yearwood remains sidelined with a calf problem, though there is still hope he could feature before the end of the campaign as Rotherham battle to avoid the drop.
