Millwall Complete Taïryk Arconte Deal
Millwall have completed the signing of Guadeloupe international forward Taïryk Arconte from Rodez AF on a long-term contract, with the club confirming the move on their official website.
The 22-year-old arrives for an undisclosed fee after an impressive 2025/26 campaign in Ligue 2, where he scored 14 goals and added three assists for Rodez. His form helped the French side finish fifth and reach the promotion play-offs, before they were beaten at the semi-final stage.
Arconte is Millwall’s second signing of the summer, following the arrival of midfielder Jenson Metcalfe from Bradford City. The Lions have been looking to strengthen their attacking options after narrowly missing out on automatic promotion to Ipswich Town last season.
The forward began his career in Guadeloupe before moving into French football with AC Ajaccio. He later joined Brest, had a loan spell with Rodez, moved to Pau, and then returned to Rodez permanently in 2025. He has also made seven appearances for Guadeloupe, scoring three goals.
“We’re very pleased to bring Taïryk to the club,” said Steve Gallen. “We’ve been monitoring him for some time and we’re confident he’s the right fit for where we want to go as a football club.
“Taïryk is a strong, quick, centre forward who wants to score goals. He’s shown good things at Rodez and we believe he has the attributes to keep developing at this level.”
