West Ham Linked With Anthony Musaba
West Ham United have been linked with a move for Fenerbahce winger Anthony Musaba as they continue to reshape their squad following relegation.
The Dutch attacker only joined Fenerbahce in January, moving from Samsunspor for a fee reported to be between €5 million and €6 million, but fresh interest has already emerged from England. West Ham are said to be leading a competitive race that also includes Wolverhampton Wanderers and newly promoted Hull City.
Musaba finished last season with eight goals and 10 assists in all competitions and is said to prefer a return to England if he leaves Turkey this summer. He has previous Championship experience from a two-year spell with Sheffield Wednesday, where he made 80 appearances, scoring 12 goals and contributing 11 assists.
The 25-year-old was named Sheffield Wednesday’s Player of the Year for 2023/24, enhancing his reputation before eventually moving on. His ability to play across the frontline is understood to be part of his appeal, with West Ham looking to add attacking depth and flexibility.
Fenerbahce are reportedly open to listening to significant offers, although Musaba’s short time in Istanbul could make any deal more complex.
