Championship Latest: Wrexham Eye £7m Premier League Swoop, West Ham Linked With £17m Striker

West Ham United Maintain Heittor Interest

West Ham United are reportedly continuing to monitor Palmeiras forward Heittor Vinicius after an earlier attempt to sign the teenager was unsuccessful.

The Hammers were linked with a £17 million offer for the 18-year-old in April, with reports in Brazil suggesting the player was open to moving to England.

That proposal did not lead to an agreement, but fresh reports claim West Ham have continued to track his progress and could revisit the situation during the summer window.

Atletico Madrid have also been credited with an interest in the Palmeiras prospect, although there has been no confirmation that either club has submitted a new offer.

Heittor joined the Palmeiras academy as a youngster and has progressed through the club’s youth system into the senior set-up.

The forward has also represented Brazil at under-20 level, making his debut during a friendly victory over Paraguay earlier this year.

West Ham’s interest remains unconfirmed, with the latest claims suggesting they are continuing to monitor the player rather than having made a renewed bid.
